“MANALAPAN DAY” on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 3PM to 10PM at the Manalapan Recreation Center. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is our absolute pleasure to announce our annual kick off to summer celebration. Manalapan aside, we anticipate many people in attendance from our neighboring towns as well. This year we are excited to present the glamorous Florence LaRue, and the 5 th Dimension to take the main stage at 8pm. Ms. LaRue continues to surprise her fans with her talent, stamina and endless energy. Throughout her career she has produced 14 Gold records, 6 Platinum records, 6 GRAMMY Awards, and numerous other awards. Let us not forget some of the hits throughout the year such as; "Up, Up and Away", "Stoned Soul Picnic", "Medley: Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In (The Flesh Failures)", "Wedding Bell Blues", "One Less Bell to Answer", "(Last Night) I Didn't Get to Sleep at All", and The Magic Garden LP.
To conclude the evening, we have planned a fireworks extravaganza to light up the skies of Manalapan for miles. Fun and food make Manalapan Day an all-day event including games, rides, ponies, petting zoo, exhibits, local performance groups, great food vendors, and non-stop entertainment!
